Spring is Surely On its Way!

Down here in Florida, the weather has been blessedly cool, and even the slow-to-bud trees are showing a little growth. Yesterday I spied a tiny flower on one of my strawberry plants, and I'm confident that by this time next month, I'll have put my velveteen stretchy pants away . . .

I hope the weather is beautiful where you are!

The big news here is that THE DAUGHTER OF ROME is out! The final book in the Emissaries series, it wraps up some of the stories from. books one and two, as well as presenting new characters from Rome. Plus, you'll meet some important biblical characters as well. Here's an order link, if you haven't yet found a copy:

One of the Amazon reviewers wrote, "In addition to bringing alive certain events and culture of the ancient world, this book also told a stunning tale of life, love and loss. This book moved me to tears many times, and had me smiling in joy at others. I enjoyed the way the story tied up at the end and the conflicts were resolved, and relationships came full circle. I enjoyed the faith thread of this one as Calandra fought against coming to Adonai and Yeshua for the duration of the book, and others questioned their strength to stand against persecution. All in all, this was a stellar work of Biblical fiction and truly brought to life the events during Nero's reign."

Thank YOU!

And guess who is waiting in the wings? SARAH! The first book of the Matriarchs series comes out in October, and I'm so thrilled. I'm working on book two now, Rebekah, and will do book three when I've finished Rebekah's story. But here's the beautiful cover for RESCUED HEART, THE STORY OF SARAH. The artists at Bethany House always do an amazing job!

You can preorder it here.

Have you ever participated in one of the online Christian fiction scavenger hunts? There's another one this year--April 10-13. These are a lot of fun, and you have a chance to win some cool prizes and lots of books! Pop onto this website (www.lisatawnbergren.com) on April 10th for details and enjoy the hunting!

Finally, I learned some sad news this week--my younger sister Dana, only 60, has passed away. She had been dealing with liver failure and other health problems, and it looks like she simply passed in her sleep . . . and that's a mercy, isn't it? Still, it was unexpected. My husband and I will be traveling to the Cocoa Beach area this week for her funeral. I've been reminded of something--we have to cherish our loved ones while we have them!

Thank you for being a reader, a friend, and a supporter of my work. I could not do this if not for you.

Blessings and shalom!

Angie

‘Twas the Week Before Christmas a special story from me to you! Jeff Parsons was a pastor with a secret: until a week ago, he hated Christmas. He didn’t hate the idea behind Christmas, of course. He was grateful Jesus came to men by way of a cradle, and even more grateful He brought men to God by way of the cross. But Christmas had become so much more—shopping and pageants and parades and Santa and an endless amount of whoop-de-do and fa la la . . . After twenty years as a pastor, Jeff was...
